Coyote Kills One New Canaan Dog, Injuries Another
Today, Thursday, August 22 at 7:00 AM, Adams Lane Resident attempted to chase down two large coyotes when one of the coyotes grabbed, killed and ran off with a 13lb Chihuahua Mix.
On August 19, a Knapp Lane Labrador Retriever sustained puncture wounds on its hind leg, which is believed caused by a coyote, after the dog owner saw two large coyotes in his yard.
Pet owners are reminded to be watchful, ready to haze and always supervise their dogs any time of day!
