New Canaan Police report that they have seen a recent uptick in overnight activity in which gangs are out at night "Towning". This term refers to groups of typically juveniles, selecting a town to travel to, where they steal cars with keys/key fobs left inside them or steal items from unlocked vehicles. These are criminal acts!
We continue to ask all residents (some still are not heeding the warnings) to lock their cars and remove valuables.
Do your part to help stop this completely preventable crime!
