The Friends of the Library are now collecting for their book sale.. Good condition books, DVDs, and CDs may be brought to the library during regular library hours until September 19th. We do not accept textbooks, encyclopedias, audio cassettes, or VHS tapes. The Book Sale runs from Saturday, September 21 until Monday, September 23 from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. in the Library Community Room. There is a preview hour on Saturday September 21 from 9-10 a.m. with a $10 entry fee plus the price of books purchased. Most books are under $2.00. On Sunday it is $10.00 for a bag of books. Please bring your own grocery style bag to fill. On Monday the books are free with donations gladly accepted. Proceeds from the Book Sale are used to support the New Fairfield Free Public Library.
