Great Swamp Summer Paddle from Green Chimneys

This will be a bring your own boat (and life jacket) event.

Join FrOGS board members for a paddle in the Great Swamp up the East Branch Croton River from the Green Chimneys beach. Before and while paddling we will discuss the importance of the Great Swamp as well as some of the flora and fauna that can be found along the river. Board member and photographer Justin Goodhart will also be happy to give some pointers about photographing the swamp to those that are interested.

Parking and river access is across the street from the main campus at the end of the parking lot (Otter Lot) near the pavilion. Please arrive at the site by 8:15 AM to unload your boat and sign our waiver.

We are requesting a small donation to help us cover the cost of the special paddle insurance in the amount of $5/person for FrOGS Members and $10/person for non-members.
