Basic & Waterfront Lifeguard Lessons

Lifeguarding is a great opportunity for summer employment, to work with people, and to have fun in the sun.

All-inclusive training program teaches the skills and knowledge needed by professional lifeguards to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies at swimming pools, as well as open water, non-surf waterfront facilities. Course meets all requirements for first-time certification and re-certification.

• 4-class sessions starting March 25 & April 22

• Includes all required CPR and first aid skills

• Comprises all skills practice and written exams

• Must be 15 years old by last date of course

• Participation in all session dates required

Learn the basics of swim or sharpen your skills with certified instruction in aquatics and water safety for swimmers 3-1/2 years old and up.

Experienced, certified instructors follow American Red Cross curriculum and guidelines to teach participants at all skill levels how to swim and to be safe in, on and around water.
