The Great Swamp is one of New York's largest freshwater wetlands and is home to a large variety of plants and animals, some rare and endangered. Join the Friends of the Great Swamp at 7:00 pm at the Patterson Library as we provide an overview of the unique geology, biodiversity, and history of The Great Swamp, including the “Dump Fight” and a showing of a video narrated by James Earl Jones.

Directions: The Patterson Library is just east of the railroad track crossing on Route 311.
