Housatonic Habitat for Humanity Fall Fundraiser at Lounsbury House on September 22, Hosted by Christine O'Leary, Live Music by Endee Bros

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce it is holding the organization’s first annual Blueprints and Blue Jeans fundraising event to celebrate its 30th anniversary on September 22 at the Lounsbury House in Ridgefield.

The fundraiser will celebrate 30 years of building homes, communities and hope in the Western Connecticut area. The event will be hosted by award-winning stand-up comedian Christine O’Leary. O'Leary is a self-professed “joy junkie” and local New Fairfield resident who has toured the country and worked with top comics. Live music will be provided by Jim Endee of the popular local duo Endee Bros.

The event will feature food from Bailey’s Backyard, a bourbon tasting with Litchfield Distillery, a wine pull, and live and silent auctions. Habitat is still seeking donations for both its silent and live auctions. If you would like to donate an item or an experience, please reach out to Jen Russey, Director of Marketing at Housatonic Habitat at jen@housatonichabitat.org.

Some of the current auction items include a “Gardening 101” package from Homefront Farmers that includes a private gardening lesson with their master gardener for up to four families; premier tickets to a home Yankee game; and a “Designer for a Day” package with interior designer Jill Rae. Rae is also an underwriting sponsor of the event along with M&T Bank.

The attire for the event is “casual country Connecticut.” Tickets are $125 each, groups of 10 are $1000. Visit HousatonicHabitat.org or HousatonicHFH.givesmart.com to purchase tickets or donate.
