New Fairfield's Fourth of July Parade Information

The Annual Independence Day Parade sponsored by the New Fairfield Lions Club will be on Friday, July 4, 2014 at 9:30 am. Ask your family and friends to attend and join in the celebration to show our support for those who have defended our freedom in the past as well as the present.

Parade Route

The parade will follow its traditional route to Memorial Field where the ceremonies will be conducted and refreshments will follow. A bus will provide transportation from the Board of Education building, across from town hall, to the beginning of the parade route. The bus will begin making trips to Overbrook beginning at 7:30am.

All groups are highly encouraged to use the bus or walk to Overbrook.

Pancakes Before the Parade

Stop by the senior center between 7-9am for the Troop 42 Pancake Breakfast! $6 per adult, $5 for scout in uniform, $4 children 2-10 year old

Road Closures 

Route 37 will be closed around 9:00 AM
