The New Fairfield Veterans Association wishes to announce that they will be at the STOP & SHOP this Saturday, May 26, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, collecting used American flags for proper disposal at a later date. The NFVA considers this to be a continuing service to the Town of New Fairfield.
On Sunday, May 27, 2018, the NFVA will have the privilege of representing the Town of New Fairfield, at the Memorial Day Parade, in Sherman, which starts in the afternoon.
On Monday, May 28, 2018, the NFVA will close out the Memorial Day weekend with a solemn ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in the Town Green which will begin at around 10:15 AM.
