Helen Anne Ostrosky Volunteer of the Year

The Society is thrilled to announce Helen Anne Ostrosky as Volunteer of the Year.  Helen Anne has exemplified what it means to be a dedicated volunteer for over 7 years.  Working on everything and anything from membership to programming to genealogy research to open houses to photography and everything in between…literally anything the Society needed, Helen Anne, often along with her husband, Bob and family, is always there to help.  Currently, Helen Anne serves as the Co-Director of Kids @Northrop and Hooked on History, creating summer and after school programming for elementary school children.  These programs, all tied to a historical period or theme, provide the kids with an educational and fun hands-on learning experience.   Our Volunteers are the life-line for the Society, so we cannot thank all of our volunteers enough, especially Helen Anne.  Please join us in congratulating Helen Anne on this well-deserved recognition.
