Cantor Deborah Katchko Gray invites the community to Congregation Shir Shalom (46 Peaceable Street, Ridgefield, CT) tonight, October 29 at 6:00 pm for an interfaith vigil as we gather in solidarity with communities around the world for the Jewish community of Pittsburgh.
"We understand that this is very last minute and wanted to create some sacred time and space to gather, especially after hearing a wide range of feelings and emotions from many in our community in the past day," says Katchko Gray. "This will be an opportunity to gather and find strength together, to pray as a community for the speedy recovery of those injured, to express our concern and outrage, and to mourn the senseless killing of eleven innocent people," she adds.
