On Saturday, April 27, the FAKCT coalition, the Family Focus Partnership and the Danbury LIST will be hosting a free Family Fun Day and Community Resource Fair, including a stroll through the park to raise awareness about the need for foster homes in Connecticut. Join us at Lake Kenosia Park in Danbury for our second annual foster care awareness walk and community day – #Chalkwalk.
Bring the family and take a stroll anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on April 27. Stay as long as you like. Enjoy free face-painting, obstacle course, Kindness Rocks project, Giant Jenga, and much more! There will be food trucks in the parking lot where families can purchase lunch.
FREE admission includes a scavenger hunt with a chance to win over 25 family-themed raffle prizes.
