The Candlewood Lake Authority has scheduled our 2019 State of the Lake, and this year, it's during the summer! Join us on Saturday July 13th, at 9:30am at the New Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department Company A Firehouse for a short presentation and update on Candlewood Lake and the opportunity to ask any questions you might have for the CLA!
We're very excited to move the state of the lake to the summer in an effort to reach new people who have not been able to attend in the past! We look forward to seeing you all there, and stay tuned here and on our Facebook Page for more details as the date gets closer.
As in the past, we will ask everyone who wishes to attend, to register so that we can ensure we have enough space - registration will open soon!
This year's cleanup was a huge success! We successfully pulled an entire dumpster full of trash and debris out of the lake to help keep Candlewood Clean for 2019! We want to say thank you to all of our volunteers and volunteer boat captains, the Town of New Fairfield and the New Fairfield Public Works Department, and all of the sponsors who helped make this event possible.
We can't wait to enjoy Candlewood Lake with you this year, and remember that keeping the lake clean is a year round job. Thank you so much again to the community who does so much to help us "Preserve and Protect Candlewood Lake."
