I Spy Eagles, Bobcats, Coyotes and More
Nature Center's Trail Cam reveals diverse and beautiful animals in the area.
Besides being a valuable tool with which scientists can study rare and elusive animals, motion-triggered trail cameras (also known as camera traps and game cameras) are simply a whole lot of fun to play around with.
The Great Hollow Nature Preserve and Ecological Center in New Fairfield recently thought it would be interesting to set one up near the Red Trail bridge across Quaker Brook, and boy, did it produce some great shots in no time at all. From bobcats and coyotes to bald eagles and great blue herons, this area clearly gets a lot of wildlife activity that we would never have known about otherwise. These and many other wildlife photos from Great Hollow are posted on their website for you to enjoy, so have a look!
