$68,696 to $103,181 (Top step July 2022)
Description
The Ridgefield Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time, entry-level police officer and CT POST certified laterals.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire. A competitive wage and benefit package as well as a defined contribution retirement plan are offered in accordance with the current labor contract. Potential candidates will be required to complete and successfully pass a written examination, C.H.I.P. (Physical Ability Assessment), command staff interview, police commission interview, polygraph examination, psychological examination, medical examination, and a thorough background investigation.
