Mrs. Vera (Moroz) Sinapi, 99, of New Fairfield, wife of the late Mario A. Sinapi, passed away at her home on Friday, January 6, 2017.
Mrs. Sinapi was born in Bridgeport, CT on June 27, 1917; a daughter of the late Mihail and Marya (Symanski) Moroz.
A resident of New Fairfield for the past 11 years, Mrs. Sinapi had also lived in New Milford, CT and originally the Bronx, NY. She was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church of New Fairfield.

Mrs. Sinapi had worked for a number of years as a clerk for MetLife, though she was best known for taking care of her family whom she loved.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Sinapi was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Fidaleo.
Mrs. Sinapi is survived by her son Richard Sinapi and his wife Theresa of Florida; son-in-law Joseph Fidaleo of New Fairfield; seven grandchildren: Patrice Andreozzi, Lisa Remley, Nancy Bock, Joseph Fidaleo, James Fidaleo, Nick Tanzi and Tony Sinapi, as well as 19 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church; 21 Brush Hill Road, New Fairfield. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield. 

Friends will be received on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. at Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home; 9 Granville Avenue, Danbury. \
