The CT United Ride through Wilton supports responders and their families from 9/11

On Sunday, September 9th The CT United Ride to support first responders and their families from 9/11, will be going through the Town of Wilton.

Wilton Police report that Route 7 northbound in Wilton will be closed to traffic as the motorcycle procession, led by the Connecticut State Police, proceeds through town from approximately 11:45-12: 30 pm.

"We are expecting 1000 motorcycles or more! Wilton Police and Wilton CERT members will be on hand to assist closing intersections," Wilton Police say.

If you need to travel during this time, Police suggest you make alternate arrangements to avoid Route 7 between Westport Road north to Route 107.

You are welcome to support the riders by watching the motorcycle procession.
