Keep The Ghostlight On with the Sherman Players

The Sherman Playhouse invites you to join Robin Frome and Steve Stott for our weekly online chat about the current state of the performing arts and the impact of COVID-19. Every Monday we feature guests from the world of theatre, dance, music, film and TV.

Join the discussion and learn how the pandemic is affecting the professional and amateur communities, ways of coping and strategies for success.

Hear their fascinating stories, how they got to where they are today and their take on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We began hosting these as ZOOM sessions at the end of June 2020 to provide a support group for those impacted by the disruption of COVID-19. Our plan was to run through July.

The success of the show, along with the persistence of COVID eventually led us to begin broadcasting live on Facebook on August 31 and recording each show. At the end of September the show was still going strong and the decision was made to start this dedicated Facebook Series.

Here you can find the all the recorded shows. You'll find inspiration in these overwhelmingly positive outlooks. Proof, if any were needed, that when crisis strikes the Arts will rise to the challenge.

Guests include Broadway professionals, local theatre folks, top music producers, recording artists, up and coming artistes, Hollywood producers, writers, technical gurus, choreographers, agents, educators, administrators and more.

If you're impacted by COVID and the resulting restrictions, worried about what the the future holds or just deeply interested in the Performing Arts then join us live every Monday at 7.30 pm on Facebook Live or follow this KTGLO series. And don't forget to like and follow our Sherman Playhouse Facebook page. More information on the Sherman Players and Sherman Playhouse at: shermanplayers.org
