Mrs. Merritt's Famous Apple Crisp Lost Recipe Found

Mrs. Merritt's Famous Apple Crisp

Round out your Thanksgiving dessert table with Mrs. Merritt's famed apple crisp! Apple trees were once a prominent feature of The Merritts' beloved Great Hollow estate. This recipe comes from Walter Merritt's second wife Mary and was published in an old newspaper article that we recently stumbled upon. The few apple trees that remain at Great Hollow no longer bear fruit, but that hasn’t stopped us from bringing the recipe back to life. Trust us, it's delicious. Try it out here.
