The Elephant Man Opens on August 13th at the Town Players of Newtown

The Elephant Man is an award-winning play, which is based on the real-life experiences of John Merrick, who lived from 1862-1890. His rare disease imprisoned him in a cruelly deformed body.

This play honors Merrick’s courage with which he faced his existence. Written by Bernard Pomerance and directed by Terry Polvay. Producers are Michele Leigh are Ella Jurgielewicz with Roberto Perez as stage manager.

SHOW DATES:
 August 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28. Friday and Saturday performances are $25. Thursday evening and Sunday matinees are $20. Curtain is at 8:pm for Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances and 2:pm for Sunday matinees.
