Meet Parisa Lotfi, M.D., Connecticut Breast Imaging New Director of Breast Imaging in Brookfield

Get to Know Parisa Lotfi, M.D.

Dr. Lotfi is Connecticut Breast Imaging’s New Director of Breast Imaging at the new flagship office in Brookfield, CT.

Of course, Breast Cancer Awareness month is about educating and spreading awareness about the impact of breast cancer throughout October, but having conversations year-round is just as important.

The role of the radiologist in breast imaging has become increasingly important over the years. Breast imaging radiologists are helping to lead conversations and are continuously dedicated to teaching the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and ways of prevention: including how to perform a self-exam, how to access proper screening, and the importance of annual mammogram screenings.

No one should have to face breast cancer alone – breast imaging radiologists are unique because they often work closely with patients and their cancer care teams to help guide breast cancer management. Patients should have easy access to their physician and care should be centered around each person’s individual needs.

Parisa Lotfi, M.D. joined Connecticut Breast Imaging after an extensive career in breast imaging in Boston, working at Harvard-affiliated hospitals. As the new Director of Breast Imaging, she brings a wealth of experience to the role and is dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized care and expert readings for patients.
