Fatal Hutchinson River Parkway Car Accident
Westchester County Executive George Latimer and Public Safety Commissioner Terrance Raynor held a news briefing last Monday regarding the tragic accident that took place on the Hutchinson River Parkway northbound in Scarsdale early this last Sunday (3/19/2023).
During the news briefing, five persons who were killed in the crash were identified, they are all from Derby, Connecticut, they are:
Malik Smith, 16;
Anthony Billips Jr., 17;
Zahnyiah Cross, 12;
Shawnell Cross, 11;
Andrew Billips, 8.
A 9 year old child survived the crash.
The driver of the vehicle did not have a Connecticut or New York Driver's License or a Permit to operate the vehicle.
