Summer Reading Volunteer Application Available Online

Summer Reading Volunteer Application is Now Online. Students going into grade 9 and up can access the New Fairfield library's application online. Just go to the following link, complete the application, and attend one of the four training sessions. Just follow this link to the application

SUMMER READING PROGRAM RUNS FROM JUly 2nd. UNTIL AUG. 10th.

• Volunteers must be going into 9th grade or higher.
• All volunteers must have a valid, fine free, library card.
• All volunteer applications must be completed and submitted by May 25.
• Students are required to volunteer for a minimum of 6 hours.
• Students may only volunteer for one shift per day.
• Phone the Children’s Room if you cannot do your shift, (203) 312-5682.
• Students who do not show up for an assigned shift, and have not called the library, will be removed from the schedule.

Each volunteer must have their own unique email address. (Siblings can not use the same email address.) After training, if you are selected to volunteer, you will receive an invitation from SignUp.com via e-mail. All volunteer scheduling will be done through SignUp.com. Please check your spam folder.

Parental approval is required for all volunteers under the age of 18.
