Adult Summer Programs

Friday Night Crafting Club, 6-8 pm. Bring your project to the Library and take some time for yourself with fellow crafters. This informal group meets in the Library’s lower level and requires no registration.

Genealogy, Weds., 8/15, 6:45-7:30 pm., Community Room. Karen Keeler will be available to help with your ancestry search. Registration opens two weeks prior to each program date.

Easy Flow Yoga, Mondays, 6:15-7:15 pm,7/23, 7/30. This is a Parks & Rec program held at the Library. For more information or to register, call Parks & Rec at 312-5633.

Documenting the Dead, Weds., July 25, 6:30-7:30 pm. Join Dustin Pari, author of numerous books and guest appearances on Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth, as he shares his knowledge of the paranormal. Registration online opened July 11.

Children’s Summer Programs

Wee Ones, Mondays, 10:30-11 am, Program Room. Stories, music and movement with Ms. Janet for children ages 12-23 months. Registration is required.

Tales for Twos, Tuesdays, 10:30-11 am, Program Room. Stories, music and crafts with Ms. Janet for children ages 24-35 months. Registration is required.

More Stories Please, Weds., 10:30 am, Program Room. Stories and a craft with Ms. JoAnn for children ages three to five. Registration is required for each month.

Drop-In Storytime/Stay and Play, Thursdays, 10:30-11am, Program Room. Stories, music and movement for all ages with Ms. JoAnn every Thursday unless school is closed or delayed. No registration is required for this program.

Drop-in Saturday Craft, 11 am to 4 pm, Children’s Library. Children of all ages are welcome to come between the hours of 11 am to 4 pm to do a craft at their leisure. No registration is required.

Sing, Laugh, Learn, Weds., July 18, 11-12 noon. Mr. Joe is a children’s music performer specializing in music that is educational, entertaining and interactive. Children ages two to six will sing, laugh, and learn! Registration opened July 3.

Sharks Rock, Tuesday, July 24, 10:30 am. This shark-themed magic show presented by magician Steve Woyce is both educational and entertaining. The audience will help make the magic happen and volunteers will help build a shark by magic! This program is for families and registration opened July 10.

Libraries Rock, Thursday, July 26, 3:30-4:30 pm, Program Room. Kids in grades kindergarten and up can paint a unique design on a rock. Take them home and put them in your garden or write a secret message on the underside and leave it around town! Registration opened July 12.

Makerspace, Friday, July 27, 2-3 pm, Program Room. Children in grades three to six are invited to make a unique creation to take home. Registration opened July 13.

The Spoon Man, Weds., Aug. 1, 11 am – noon, Community Room. This is an interactive hilarious comedy program for all ages. Come and have a spoonful of family fun! Registration opened July 18.

Balloon Sculpting, Friday, August 3, 1:30-2:30 pm. Ed Popielarczyk is a professional magician, balloon twister and entertainer. He will teach kids ages eight and up the art of balloon sculpting. Registration opens July 20.
