Hannah Munroe of Bethel, a professional photographer who creates painterly scenes that evoke courage and joy in lush colors, will show her work at the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut from Aug. 10 to Nov. 2. An opening reception with the artist and a collection that she calls “Emerge,” will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 10 at the Cultural Alliance gallery, 287 Main St., Danbury. The event is free but registration is requested.
