The John Jay Homestead will open their Farm Market for the season on Saturday, June 6. It will include required advance registration for 30-minute time slots for shopping. On Saturday, June 13, they will host a timely take on their annual farm to table dinner with "On the Farm (at Home)". Guests will pick up ‘Dinner in a Box’ from John Jay Homestead prepared by Farmer and the Fish and designed by La Maison Fete to enjoy at home.
On Friday, June 19, John Jay will partner with the Bedford Playhouse to present their first Drive In Movie at John Jay Homestead, with "Raiders of the Lost Ark" on the big screen.
In March, They began to prepare virtual content for adults and children for electronic distribution. They are now presenting excellent digital tours and exhibits in a new way to explore the historic Bedford House from home.
Every Monday offers fun and educational activities for children downloads to connect with the rich historic past. The 62-acre grounds remain open for visitors to hike the Perimeter Trail, throw a fishing line in our Ice Pond or take a self-guided Landscape Tour. You can also enjoy the beautiful gardens.
