At 7:30pm, May 29, the following post was made on Town of New Fairfield CT Facebook page:
"I met and spoke with representatives of both Frontier and Charter Spectrum today. They provided me with the following updates. Frontier anticipates that all wires will be spliced and hung by June 1. Restoration to individual customers will occur concurrently. Charter expected all customers to be restored by end of day today. Both providers stressed that if you are notified that service has been restored in your area and you do not have service, you must call customer service as there may be an issue with the line between the pole and your house."
