On Wednesday evening, the Board of Finance recommended to Special Town Meeting the appropriation of $2,750,000 for curbside brush removal along town and private roads, with anticipated reimbursement from FEMA directed back to the General Fund. The Special Town Meeting will take place on Thursday, June 28 at 7:00 in the Community Room at the Senior Center.

TOWN OF NEW FAIRFIELD
Notice is hereby given to the electors of the Town of New Fairfield and those qualified to vote at Town Meeting that a meeting will be held on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 7:00P.M. in the Community Room @ 33 Route 37 for the following purpose:
1. To consider and act upon the approval of an additional appropriation of $2,750,000 coming from the 2017-2018 revenue surplus and the remainder from the General Fund for expenses related to the May 15th storm with all FEMA reimbursement to be deposited to the General Fund. All reasonable efforts will be made to secure FEMA reimbursement for all expenses undertaken.
