Sherman Natural Resources Report Released

Sherman Natural Resources Report Released
The Sherman Conservation Commission has released its long-awaited update to the Town's Natural Resources Inventory Report and Recommendations, published last week. Great Hollow's Executive Director, Chad Seewagen, authored two of the Report's chapters -- "Aquatic Resources" and "Wildlife and Critical Habitats." The Report provides a comprehensive and current assessment of the status of natural resources in Sherman that can be used to inform zoning and development decisions that will minimize impacts to the Town's surface waters, soils, farmland, wildlife, open spaces, and recreational resources. An electronic version of the report is available here and printed copies can be purchased at the Sherman Planning & Zoning Office for $10.
