Cricket Valley's Impact on Western CT

The Sherman Conservation Commission is hosting a science-based seminar "Cricket Valley Power Plant's Impact on Western Connect". Topics to be discussed by the panelists are: health and environmental concerns of air and water pollution from methane, nitrous oxides, and other emissions from the 1100 megawatt power plant. This plant is being built on the CT & NY border and could impact many towns in our area. The seminar is free and open to the public. Please RSVP on this event so we can make sure we have enough seats.
