Don't miss Dr. Rayda Krell of Western Connecticut State University discuss the important tick-borne disease prevention research and communication efforts going on in Fairfield County and beyond. She will highlight current trends in Lyme Disease and other tick-borne diseases, and how her work in the Tick-borne Disease Prevention Laboratory at WCSU explores a combination of prevention tactics that has never been tested before. Dr. Krell will also discuss the many challenges to preventing tick-borne diseases, including the importance of understanding human behavior. Free for members and non-members.
