Eversource will be in New Fairfield in the next few weeks to inspect power lines and equipment. Crews will be using drones about 2 feet across in size, equipped with a camera and manned by a drone operator. This work will NOT cause an interruption of service. The work will be conducted by FAA licensed drone operators from JBI Helicopter/Airshark. You can expect to see drones flying at or near poles, wires and structures. The drones will not fly beneath wires. Work hours are from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday. For more information, follow the two links below:
