The National Weather Service has posted a Red Flag Warning for our area until 8 PM this evening. CT DEEP has also issued a HIGH FIRE DANGER WARNING. A Red Flag Warning means that "critical fire weather conditions are expected or occurring. a combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels will create a significantly elevated fire growth potential." OPEN BURNING IS NOT ALLOWED UNTIL THE WARNINGS ARE LIFTED.
