Make Food Safety Part of Your Game Day Plan

Do you have a game plan for your next watch party?

On game day, start with clean hands and utensils. Keep an eye on the clock: Don’t leave food sitting out for more than 2 hours.

On the buffet, keep hot foods hot with a slow cooker or other warming device, and put cold foods on ice so they stay cold. If you’re ordering takeout or delivery, check health inspection scores if they’re available, and make sure food is handled properly so it is safe to eat.

Read this CDC feature, also in Spanish, to learn more food safety tips and keep the runs on the field.
