New Milford VNA & Hospice Sponsor Sip & Stroll Fundraiser

NEW MILFORD – New Milford VNA & Hospice is forecasting another fun evening on Friday, December 1 at their annual “Sip & Stroll”, a fundraiser for Camp Jonathan, a unique bereavement day camp for children and teens ages 6 through 18 who have experienced the death of a loved one.    

Activities begin at 5:00 pm at 19Main Event Venue, 19 Main Street, New Milford.  Pick up your stroll guide and event tote bag, then Sip, Shop& Stroll your way through New Milford’s charming downtown shops and restaurants, sampling wine, beer, bourbons, non-alcoholic beverages and food nibbles while enjoying special holiday discounts at the fine downtown shops of New Milford.  Your ticket includes an official Sip & Stroll glass and entry into a drawing for festive gift baskets. 

This year’s stroll will also feature an art show and sale of paintings donated by the estate of Barbara Goodspeed to benefit both New Milford Chore Services and VNA Home.  New Milford Chore Services is a new organization whose mission is to assist seniors so they are able to remain living independently in their homes through volunteers who help with light house chores or provide friendly visits.  VNA Home is an affiliate of New Milford VNA & Hospice which provides short or long-term non-medical services that allow seniors to remain safe and independent in their own homes.
