Regional Hospice Hosts “The Masterpiece Gala” on May 4, 2018
Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, of Danbury, CT, will host The Masterpiece Gala, their fifth annual fundraiser, on May 4, 2018 at 7:00pm at Le Chateau, South Salem, New York. The evening will include a wide array of entertainment including musicians, a cappella singers, a magician, fiddler, dancers and more. There will also be luxury raffle prizes, an exhibition of local artists’ work, a cocktail hour and a three-course, farm-to-table dinner, with open bar. Tickets are $250.00.
The Masterpiece Gala is one of the largest fundraisers for Regional Hospice and Palliative Care. All proceeds for the evening’s event, including the sale of artwork, will support the Pediatric Hospice Program and Services. Regional Hospice has the largest pediatric and perinatal hospice care program in Connecticut. Last year, Regional Hospice supported $225,000 in unreimbursed care for dying children. The success of this year’s gala will help sustain this program throughout the year. Regional Hospice program is important and unique and only 18% of hospice facilities in the U.S. provide pediatric care.
