Brass City Brew & ‘Que (BCB&Q) annual fundraiser for Main Street Waterbury will be held this Saturday, September 8, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., rain or shine under numerous tents in the park behind Silas Bronson Library at 267 Grand Street.
Advance tickets are $35 and $40 at the gate this Saturday, September 8. Purchase of tickets in advance is highly recommended.
The afternoon fundraiser will also feature live music, pitmaster competitions, craft beer and barbeque seminars, home brewers competition, BBQ food vendors and much more. More than 2,000 beer aficionados from across New England will gather for this year’s festival featuring 125+ breweries and brewpubs showcasing more than 250 domestic and international brews.
Supporters of Main Street Waterbury’s 2018 Brass City Brew & ‘Que include Presenting Sponsor Blasius Chevrolet of Waterbury and Performance Sponsor The City of Waterbury Arts & Tourism Commission. The fundraiser is hosted by Nutmeg Fine Wines & Spirits and is receiving media support from iHeartMedia and the official ride sponsor is Uber.
A Very Intimate Preview (VIP) Session will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. with a maximum of 700 attendees for an additional $10.
All ticket holders will be welcomed to a Home Brewers Showcase featuring regional up-and-coming craft brewers, three free beer-tastings, and brewing mini-seminars to be held throughout the day, hearty BBQ foods from local restaurants and food trucks, several live bands, and a Downtown Bartenders Showcase.
The Pit Master competition is being produced by Kevin Egan, a member of the New England Barbecue Society (NEBS). Egan is schooled in the art of smoking meats and other related techniques. He has sampled some of the nations’ best barbecue and is looking forward to coordinating his ‘first’ event for Waterbury and this annual fundraiser event for Main Street Waterbury.

Attendees must be 21+ w/a valid State-issued photo ID or Passport. Food, water, and other non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase during the festivities.
Limited Edition BCB&Q t-shirts will be available for purchase during the event plus Limited Edition 5 oz. tasting glasses for $3 or two for $5.
