Concert to benefit Sandy Hook Promise on Saturday

Sandy Hook Promise, a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating gun violence in schools, will be the beneficiary of a fundraising concert on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 7:30 PM at The Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut. "Echoes of Sinatra and Dino", a family friendly concert featuring a nine-piece orchestra is a stylish tribute to the music of  Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Ridgefield resident Steve Kazlauskas, renowned for his vocal stylings of Sinatra’s songs and equally talented Dean Martin tribute artist Jack Lynn headline the show. This popular duo has entertained audiences and impressed critics nationwide with their musical antics and skilled storytelling. Their songs are backed by the world class musicianship of the Tony T Orchestra.

The evening promises to create a fun and memorable experience that will raise funds to support Sandy Hook Promise's "Know The Signs" programs that educate students how to look out for each other and prevent school violence before it happens.
Concert organizer Bill Flash said: “I have seen the positive impact Sandy Hook Promise's programs have on students and I want to do everything I can to help them spread that message to as many students as possible. If that means raising money to help them fund their programs, then let's raise as much as possible."

"Echoes of Sinatra and Dino" tickets are available at  www.RidgefieldPlayhouse.Org  or by calling the Ridgefield box-office at (203) 438-5795.

Since its inception, Sandy Hook Promise has trained over seven million youth and adults to know the signs that someone may be at risk of hurting themselves or others. They have taught students simple yet effective ways to be inclusive and to create interpersonal bonds that prevent the isolation that can sometimes lead to violence against self or others. These educational programs are delivered at no cost to the schools and organizations that receive the training, so Sandy Hook Promise depends on financial support in order to deliver these trainings and to sustain the message through ongoing reinforcement including clubs, activities, and refreshers.
