Come Hear the Sound Carolers will bring the Music of the Holidays to Litchfield Crossings on Dec. 15

Come one, come all to hear holiday carols performed by New Milford’s own singing group, Come hear the Music, at Litchfield Crossings on Saturday, December 15, from 3 pm to 5 pm.  After a long day of shopping or errands, people can stop in to soak in this holiday tradition while gathering round the patio at Panera’s.  Enjoy the holiday music while sipping hot chocolate and savoring Panera’s delicious cookies.

Founded five years ago by New Milford resident Doreen Bates, Come Hear the Sound is making its second appearance at the Crossings. Last year they organized and sang at a fundraising event to benefit hurricane victims.  Says Bates, “We are friends who came together because we love music…all kinds including folk, traditional and contemporary.” The group has performed at concerts on the New Milford Green, at local coffee houses, senior care centers and taken many encores at The Maxx event venue in town.

“We thought it would be a dose of holiday cheer to enjoy carolers while shopping at Litchfield Crossings. We are grateful to Come Hear the Sound for sharing their beautiful sound and talent with us during the holiday season and to Panera Bread for so generously offering our shoppers hot chocolate and cookies.  Come on down and enjoy, we truly hope to make your shopping experience a pleasurable and festive one,” invites Kristen Gizzi, Executive Director of Litchfield Crossings.

Litchfield Crossings, Litchfield’s largest shopping center, is located at 169 Danbury Road, New Milford.  For more information, www.litchfieldcrossings.com or https://www.facebook.com/LitchfieldCrossingsLLC/
