Diversity Month Celebration at The Silo!

Hunt Hill Farm and Health Care Advocates International are delighted to announce its first event as an esteemed accredited United Nations NGO this year. The organization was granted special observer status with the UN-ECOSOC in July 2022, and it has now joined a prestigious group of only 6110 nonprofits that have achieved this recognition worldwide. With our voice now on the global stage, we are motivated to make meaningful contributions by creating a more equitable world for all people who inhabit this planet!

The Silo is thrilled to commemorate Diversity Month on April 15th this year. This day-long event will be packed with a plethora of exciting events that unite people from all walks of life and promote the attainment of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Furthermore, we are ecstatic to celebrate our 50th year in 2023!

At this event, guests can enjoy a variety of activities, such as live music from NYC transgender vocal choir TRANScend and Scott Smith from Kentucky, inspirational guest speakers, and delicious food to honor different cultures. In addition, attendees will have an opportunity to connect with each other and show their appreciation for diversity in our community.

We are honored to have Mr. Angus Rennie, from the United Nations, join us at this celebration as our Guest of Honor. He has dedicated his life to promoting peace and understanding, and he will be sharing his wisdom at this event.

Dr. Gary Blick founder of Health care Advocates International, Dr. Hanifa Mezoui also from the United Nations and Carmen Hughes, City of Stamford’s first Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are also joining us for the celebration as special guest speakers.

The Silo is excited to host this event, which will provide everyone with a chance to share their stories.

Seating is limited to 50 guests on a first come first serve basis and people interested in attending the event can RSVP by visiting: http://diversity-month.thesilo.org.
