Women's Center Offers Men's Support Group Voices of Courage

Voices of Courage is an ongoing support group for adult male victims of child and/or adult sexual abuse.  Its primary goal is to give members a safe space to talk about their trauma.  Group discussions and activities focus on issues and concerns commonly found among male survivors and topics that are of importance to group members. Topic of discussion include managing stress and anxiety, memories, triggers and anger, fear sadness and shame.

Voices of Courage meets on Mondays from 6:30pm-8:30pm at 2 West Street in Danbury.  Registration is required.  Please contact 203.731.5200 x203 to register and for more information. All of our services are free and confidential.

The Women's Center of Greater Danbury is a non-profit organization with a vision to end the violence against women, men and children, to foster equality and empowerment for all. We serve the needs of individuals and families in the Northern Fairfield and Southern Litchfield County communities of Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman, and Washington. We provide prevention, crisis intervention, and support services with regard to domestic violence, sexual assault, and other major life transitions. Our free and confidential services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We're here to talk about it.
