Lamont Announces Phasing Out of Business Restrictions in Connecticut

Today, Monday, April 19, Governor Ned Lamont announced during his news conference that over the coming days, Connecticut will "slowly, cautiously, and safely phase out most of the business restrictions".

Beginning May 1

Business curfew moved back to 12AM

Outdoor restrictions lifted

- alcohol without food allowed

- no table size limits

Beginning May 19

All remaining business restrictions ended

DPH will issue recommendations for safe operation of indoor and large outdoor events

Indoor masks will continue


COVID-19 vaccination update in Connecticut:
  • 1st doses administered: 1,703,045
  • Fully vaccinated: 1,113,184
  • Total doses administered: 2,710,832
Connecticut continues ranks 2nd in the nation for most vaccines administered per capita.
 
61% of adults 18+ have received at least their 1st dose.
