New Milford Police Welcome Community Policing Officer Toro!

New Milford Police Chief Cerruto introduces the new Community Policing Officer, Officer Toromanides, also known as Officer "Toro". He will be operating out of the newly renovated Police Substation at 7 Railroad St.
 
This position will to be a visible resource to the community in the downtown district including the Green, Main St., Bank St. and Youngs Field. The Community Policing Officer will be working to continually improve police/community relations, to be a resource to the community and to interact as a role model to youth in New Milford, as well as coordinating community/police events such as coffee with a cop.
 
We will be hosting a Grand Opening of the NMPD substation on Saturday, March 27th from 12pm-2pm. Please stop by to see the substation, meet Officer Toro and speak with the Mayor and Chief about community policing.
