New Milford Police report catalytic converter thefts

Yesterday, Thursday, August 25, complaints came into the New Milford Police Department regarding catalytic converter thefts.

According to police, "The thieves are cutting the converters off with a Sawz-All (reciprocating saw). They vandalized four Toyota Prius' at 39 Danbury Road Levine's Auto, one Ford F250 at 568 Danbury Road Evergreen Arts & Stone, and one Toyota 4-Runner at CT Auto Repair Service (CARS) here in town."

Police say the thefts are occurring late night/early morning hours in New Milford and surrounding towns, by two to three males wearing masks, driving a black pickup truck.
