The Bethel United Methodist Church, located at 141 Greenwood Ave., is holding a Yankee Candle fundraising sale to raise money to repair and repaint the exterior of the building, which was built in the 1860's. The building is the only church located within the Downtown Bethel Historic District.
The community can help by visiting the Church's website at www.bethelmethodist.net, clicking on the Yankee Candle icon and placing an order, and 40% of the sale will go directly to help the church cover the repair costs.
