Newtown’s Beautiful Baby voting booth is at Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop. This is the first year Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop has been a polling place for the friendly competition, which is a fundraiser for our nation’s wounded veterans.
Try to get over there, treat yourself to some ice cream, which is made right on the premises, and cast a few votes with your dollars. 100% of the money raised goes towards a handicap house from the Homes For Our Troops nonprofit for a West Haven Army Ranger.
If you would like to enter a photo to support the handicap house, it is not too late to enter a child’s photo (newborn – 4 years-old). The child does not need to live in Newtown.
The entry fee is a $10 check donation made payable to “Homes For Our Troops”. Mail checks and a 4” x 4” (cut a 4 x 6) or wallet photo with child’s name and contact email and phone # written clearly on the back to:
