Congratulations to Newtown native and police officer Emily Clark! Officer Clark graduated the police academy today and will be joining the ranks of the New Canaan Police Dept.
Emily was a Newtown Police Explorer as a young teenager and most recently a police dispatcher. She continues to serve as a volunteer firefighter in town and recently graduated college.
Pictured with Emily is Newtown Ofc.Paula Wickman, also a Newtown native, who was one of Emily’s mentors during her years as a police explorer.
