Town of Newtown announces vacancies on several boards and commissions

Newtown First Selectman Rosenthal is seeking residents to volunteer and registered voters to fill a vacancy on the following boards and committees:

* The Fairfield Hills Authority and the Bike & Trail Committee. The last day to apply is August 25th.

* The Sustainable Energy Commission has a vacant seat available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. The last day to apply is September 1st. 

* The Economic Development Commission has a vacant seat available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. The last day to apply is  Sept. 8th.
