Betty Hensal Named REALTOR® of The Year!

The Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS® proudly recognized Betty Hensal as its 2024 REALTOR® of the Year.

Since 1970, the Northern Fairfield County Associations of REALTORS® (NFCAR) has been honoring a local Realtor® who has served not only the profession but also the communities the association serves with “The Realtor® of the Year Award”.

The selection committee is composed of former NFCAR REALTORS® of the Year. The member chosen to receive this honor must excel in the following categories: REALTOR® Spirit, Civic Activity, Business Accomplishments, Local Association Activity, State Association Activity and National Association Activity.

Betty serves as this year’s Secretary of the NFCAR Board of Directors, chairs its Education Committee and serves on its Strategic Planning Committee. In the past, Betty was President of NFCAR, State Director of CT Realtors, President of the State and Local Chapters of the Women’s Council of Realtors, served as a Board Member of both the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce and Ann’s Place and was President of the Women’s Club of Brookfield. Betty is a Corporator of the Savings Bank of Danbury, serves on its Foundation Board of Directors, and is an experienced, successful real estate broker with William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty.

NFCAR Association Executive, Richard Eimicke, commented, “I totally agree with the selection committee’s decision to name Betty Hensal the Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS® as the 2024 REALTOR ® of the Year. Betty is a REALTOR® that all REALTORS® should aspire to be like.”
