SoNo Baking Company Pie & Dough Making Class with Chef John Barricelli
Join Chef John Barricelli at SoNo Baking Company on Wednesday July 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. for a BYOB "hands-on" class for $70 featuring the making of dough used for pies, canapés, quiches and other dishes. John, who has worked with Martha Stewart, has been featured on Today Show and has two cookbooks, The SoNo Baking Company Cookbook and The Seasonal Baker ( available 8/21/12). During the class, he will guide us through each of the baking steps as to make our own dough and create our own take home pie.
John will also demonstrate creative pie toppings, including using lattice, and cutout designs and share
Each attendee will take home recipes, a gift bag filled with SoNo Baking Company goodies, and a $10 gift certificate good for the bakeries or cafes in South Norwalk or Westport. One lucky attendee with receive a signed advance copy of John's newest book, The Seasonal Baker!
This event is also BYOB, so pack your favorite wine and a corkscrew and sip as you create.

The Venue
The SoNo Baking Company & Café, is the creation of John Barricelli who had a vision of creating artisan breads, top quality French-style pastries and specialty cakes in a homey, inviting Bakery/Café. John's exceptional talent and ability landed him at Martha Stewart Living Productions in Westport, CT and later a spot on Martha Stewart.
John has made his dream of owning a Bakery/Café into a reality. Located in popular South Norwalk, CT (known as SoNo), he renovated a 3,600 sq. ft. former warehouse and brought to life The SoNo Baking Company & Café. This intimate, beautiful, upscale Café boasts an open kitchen and bakery, providing a mouth-watering aroma of fresh baked breads from the deck oven imported from Italy. You'll watch in awe of the gorgeous cakes being decorated and delicate pastries being carefully constructed - all while dining on a simple yet delicious menu.
